It's actually rather convenient to never have to shovel or drive on icy roads. I think my snow fever would return if I had kids, but for now I'm content in the warm. I'm sorry but I think that kind of mark up is not productive to the aggregate economy. Yes, it benefits dentists, insurance carriers and their employees. However, many people go without good teeth because they can't come up with $800 bucks. As far as who is going to fix it...I don't know if it can. The government talks about it but it does not do such a good job. The only ones that can fix it are consumers but holding their money. I did not know that about dentists. Wouldnt mind the below zero weather if I didnt get that stinking -50 below windchill that goes with it. Just this weekend had record wind speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Cold is one thing I can bundle up and get by. Throw in that blasted wind and you cant get enough layers on to keep that biting cold on the outside.
