The super bowl is over. Now we can get back to our daily lives.
Actually, I watched some of the game and thought it is shows how great America can be.
I also thought about how we as a nation can celebrate swilling beer, naked and easy sluts, vanity, materialism, arrogance, stupidity, bullying and corruption better than anybody.
The much touted commericals were numerous examples of really how stupid we can be.
My daughter who is eleven years old kept looking at me saying, is that supposed to be funny?
She also took notice to how much effort is taken to make beer seem like this magical and empowering miracle solution. When all it does it make people stagger, puke and act like monkeys…male and female.
It’s over, so what

I bought a new laptop recently because my old one croaked.
Anyway, I purchased a mini wireless capable one for a lot of reasons…the main one being convenience and power.
Well, I didn’t know that my ATT wireless plan would require I put up another $100 to continue the service because I have to get another type of card.
I guess I didn’t know.
So, they tell me that if I want to use the service I paid for three months in advance, I have to buy this new card and sign a new two year agreement.
I got ticked off so I started looking for wifi’s. I found several, one in a local public library close to where I work.
Well, I come to find out not only is the service at the library free, it’s faster.
And with wifis all over the place, I don’t need to spend another dime with ATT.
They’ll take $175 from me which sucks. However, that’s nothing compared to the $70 per month I already paid for two years and am supposed to pay for another two years for a slow, lousy, stinking service.
Good riddance.

I saw on the morning news today General Motors will start producing its electric car at the end of 2010 and it will be available for everyone to buy.
And, they are so proud of how they designed this thing to be clean and efficient. I was interested until they said they want $40,000 a piece for this junk.
So, any savings you may realize in lower gasoline purchases will be outweighed by the ridiculous sticker price (which will be paid to the tune of about $500 a month for five years) and the cost of the electricity it will use. Electricity is going up too folks. Making electricity to feed these cars may have more negative effects on the environment than burning.
If you saw this news broadcast, the media (as usual) sucked up to General Motors making this vehicle sound like such a good idea for everyone. Bias!
Guess what…charging $40,000 for that thing is nothing less than rape in my opinion!
It’s small, unsafe, and made of plastic and tin. I’m willing to bet General Motors can make tons of money if they sell them for $10,000.
Screw them!
More rip off crap. Don’t buy them.
