Bad economy gives corporations excuses

Published by ralphio at 9:47 am under Uncategorized Edit This

no-jobs-main.jpgCorporations are using the bad economy as a way to screw the public out of tax money and to cut back on their employees and services.
When huge corporations have the power to determine whether they want to pay people to work of add the profits to the fat money grubbing top management, they will always choose the latter.
And now more than ever they can do it with justification.
I believe the free market system works but when you have entire communities dependent on a few employers, it is not a free market system. It is tilted toward the management of the company who can make up reasons to avoid hiring or maintaining service and quality levels.
The free market works best on the main street levels where businesses and customers can meet on equal terms. Huge corporations with secretive powers over everyone’s lives work for self serving reasons. That is not free market economics.
