Look at this picture of Obama. Should someone sitting in the President’s chair amidst all of the economic and political malaise be sitting there smiling like someone at a birthday party?
He might as well have a hat on that says, “I’m OK…you’re all screwed…but I’m OK.”
That’s what that smile says. It is totally inappropriate.
I’m not saying he should be up there acting out with overt sadness or other false emotions. He should be straight faced though dealing with issues in a serious manner.
This grin says the whole thing is a joke in his mind.
I could never sit there with all of this responsibility and smile like that. I’d be afraid someone would take offense.
