Making sewer sludge into fuel

Published by ralphio at 12:40 pm under Economy Edit This

There’s a company in PA that has technology that turns raw sewage into a burnable fuel.
It sounds like a great idea…there is no shortage of sewage, in fact it’s growing by the ton every day. Plus, it gives a use for it instead of sending it to landfills.
Of course, like any new energy though, it is expensive and not competitive with current fuels.
This is another example of how green energy feels good but does not work on a large scale unless the government puts up tons of tax money to prop it up.
Maybe it can become more competitive so we can stop buying from our enemies. The way it is now though, the typical user who is already fighting a growing list of bills just can’t afford it.
Someone come up with an affordable green energy alternative, please.
