Time for a new laptop
I’m going over to the target store to purchase a new laptop computer this week.
My 2001 toshiba finally gave me no choice. First the hard drive started to get corrupted.
Then the hinges went bad so I can’t use it unless it is propped up against something.
Then the electrical adapter cord stopped charging the thing. So, they got me.
I have to say it seems to have been good to me. For some reason though I feel like I should get another ten years out of it.
I guess a $700 laptop is not supposed to last more than about seven years.
I won’t miss some things about it though. It weighs a ton and causes me to slip and fall on the ice when I’m carrying it.
Plus it only has 240 MB Ram, so let’s face it…it’s a turtle.
I hope I can dig up the money soon. I won’t last long without a laptop.
When the battery is gone on this baby…that’s it!!
For a fitting end to a long love/hate relationship I am going to smash it into one thousand little pieces for the aggravation.
Arghh!
